Real builds for real businesses
We build custom software and AI tools for local businesses that have outgrown one-size-fits-all apps. Here are real projects — what the business needed, what we built, and the result.
Custom Software · On-Site Service Company
Custom ticketing system for an on-site service company
Replacing a $1,400+/month off-the-shelf ticketing app with a system built for the way this business actually works — at about half the monthly cost.
The challenge
An on-site service company was paying over $1,400 per month for a ticketing application that was never built for its specific business needs and processes. The team was forced to adapt its own workflow to fit generic software — and paying a premium every month for the privilege.
- High recurring cost with no clear return.
- The tool didn't match how their work orders and dispatch actually flowed.
- Missing fields and steps the business relied on every day.
What we built
Dallas AI Company is building a custom ticketing system for them — designed around their exact business needs and processes, not a generic template. It costs about half of what they were paying per month, and every screen maps to how the team really works.
| Off-the-shelf app (before) | Custom system (with us) | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly cost | Over $1,400 / month | About half that |
| Fit to the business | Generic; team adapts to the software | Built around their exact workflow |
| Fields & process | Fixed; missing steps they rely on | Their exact fields and steps, and changeable |
| Ownership | Rented; rules set by the vendor | A tool built for them |
The takeaway: when a business is paying a premium every month for software that still doesn't fit, a custom build can cost less and work better. You stop bending your process to the tool — the tool bends to you.
AI Chatbot · Municipal Billing Outsourcing
A document-grounded AI chatbot for MinolUSA
A 24/7 assistant that answers prospect questions instantly — using only MinolUSA's own approved content, so it never guesses.
MinolUSA helps municipalities and utilities outsource complex billing, and their edge is a knowledgeable account team. As inbound interest grew, common questions kept landing in phone queues and email — and after-hours prospects had to wait until the next business day. They wanted a way to answer routine questions at any hour without a generic bot handing out wrong information.
We built a chatbot on our knowledge-base platform, trained only on MinolUSA's own PDFs, service pages, and FAQs, and dropped it onto their site with a single script tag — no back-end work for their web team. Every reply is drawn from approved content and cites its source, and when a question falls outside that scope the bot points the visitor to the right person. It complements the account team rather than replacing it.
