Drone Mapping and Thermal Surveys, Dallas-Fort Worth
Turn Drone Flights Into Maps, Heat Maps, and 3D Models Clients Trust.
Dallas AI Company handles everything after the drone lands. We process flight imagery into seamless aerial maps, thermal surveys, 3D models, and clear reports, then deliver it all through a private web viewer your clients can open in any browser.
In short: we process drone imagery from licensed pilots into high-resolution aerial maps (about 2 cm per pixel on roof flights), thermal heat maps, 3D models, GIS-ready GeoTIFF files, and a plain-language validation report, presented in a password-protected online viewer.
How it works
From raw flight photos to a client-ready deliverable
Great drone data can still disappoint a client if the map has seams, cropped edges, or unclear findings. Our process is built to deliver something a client trusts at first glance.
Plan the capture
We help define the flight plan: altitude, overlap, RTK positioning, paired RGB and thermal passes, and whether angled passes are needed for a full 3D model.
Process and align
Hundreds of overlapping photos are solved together, tied to RTK positions, and corrected for building height so roof edges and rooftop equipment line up cleanly.
Build the deliverables
We produce seamless RGB orthomosaics, radiometric thermal maps, 3D models, and georeferenced GeoTIFF exports, cropped so the full property is covered with no gaps.
Validate and report
Every package ships with a validation report that explains coverage, accuracy, and known limits in plain language, so nobody over-reads the data.
Publish a private viewer
Clients open a password-protected web viewer to pan, zoom, compare layers, orbit the 3D model, and download files. Updated versions are added without replacing earlier ones.
Deliverables
What a finished survey package can include
Seamless aerial maps
High-resolution RGB orthomosaics with blended seams and full-coverage crops, down to about 2 cm per pixel on roof flights.
Thermal heat maps
Radiometric temperature maps with selectable frames and overlays, aligned to the RGB map when paired flights and positioning data allow.
3D models in the browser
Textured 3D property and roof models with free-orbit controls, lighting, and sensible camera limits. No software to install.
GIS-ready downloads
Georeferenced GeoTIFF files that open directly in GIS, CAD, and estimating tools.
Validation reports
A clear PDF covering methods, coverage, accuracy numbers, and limitations, ready to share with owners, adjusters, or contractors.
Versioned project history
Each reprocessing becomes a new version, so clients can compare results and earlier deliverables are never lost.
Who it is for
Built for teams that need answers from the air
- Drone service providers. Add professional processing, reporting, and a polished client viewer to the flights you already fly.
- Roofing and building envelope contractors. Show owners exactly where to look, with measurable roof maps and thermal patterns to investigate.
- Commercial property managers. Keep a dated visual record of roofs, parking areas, and rooftop equipment across multiple properties.
- Insurance, inspection, and engineering teams. Get documented, georeferenced imagery with honest accuracy statements.
Our approach
Honest data beats impressive pictures
We would rather tell a client what the data cannot show than let them over-read it. Every report states how accurate the maps are, where coverage is thin, and what still needs to be confirmed on site. Thermal findings are framed as areas to investigate, not conclusions. That approach builds trust with property owners and keeps our partners out of awkward conversations later. We bring the same browser-based 3D experience we use in our 3D product configurators, and we can add an AI assistant that answers questions about a survey report.
FAQ
Drone mapping and thermal survey questions
We handle the processing and delivery side of drone survey work. Pilots or property teams supply the flight imagery, and we turn it into seamless aerial maps, thermal heat maps, 3D models, downloadable GIS files, and a written validation report, all presented in a private web viewer that clients can open in any browser.
Every capture is flown by a licensed drone pilot. Our focus is everything after the flight: processing, quality control, analysis, reporting, and the client-facing viewer. If you do not already have a pilot, we can help arrange one.
With a well-planned low-altitude roof flight, we have produced roof maps at about 2 centimeters per pixel and wider site maps at about 5 centimeters per pixel. Actual resolution depends on the camera, altitude, and overlap used during the flight.
A thermal map can highlight temperature patterns worth investigating, such as areas that hold heat differently after sunset. Thermal patterns alone do not prove moisture. Shiny metal surfaces can read misleadingly, and findings should be confirmed on site with moisture readings or core samples.
When the drone records RTK positioning data, we tie every photo to precise locations and report how well the photos agree with each other, which is often within a few centimeters. Placement on a public basemap is typically about half a meter. We report these limits openly in every validation report.
Straight-down roof flights produce an accurate model of the roof surface. A complete building model with reliable walls and edges also needs an angled, or oblique, flight pattern around the structure. We will tell you which flight plan fits the result you want before anyone flies.
Each project gets a private, password-protected web viewer with pan and zoom maps, switchable thermal layers, a free-orbit 3D view, and downloadable reports. Nothing to install. For highly sensitive projects we can add server-side access control so every file, not just the viewer, is protected.
Typical deliverables include a high-resolution RGB orthomosaic, a thermal heat map where applicable, georeferenced GeoTIFF files that open in GIS and CAD software, a 3D model, and a PDF validation report describing methods, coverage, and accuracy limits.
Yes. Drone service providers can partner with us for processing, reporting, and a client viewer, so they can offer finished deliverables without building that capability in-house.
